Data Centre expansion, Pantin

Data hall capacity increase at Pantin site

Reid Brewin Architects have been working on the development of this suburban Data Centre site since 2011. In 2014 the practice was approached to design and deliver a new purpose built extension, providing an additional 5,000m² of data hall space on the existing site which was complete in 2019.

The concrete framed construction is divided in two by a central circulation core. A key design element of the adjoining building was a copper band crowning the top of the circular tower. This architectural approach has been extended to the entire north façade of the new extension. A fully glazed link bridge connects the two buildings, providing daylight to the central corridors.

A new smaller extension to provide additional technical rooms started onsite early 2020. All works on site, including completion of the external areas have been completed in 2021.
