Retail fit out, Paris

Suit firm’s new retail shop in the centre of Paris

RBA was appointed by an Amsterdam based suit brand to take charge of the permit application and management of the site works for their flagship store located on rue de la Paix in Paris. A general contractor was appointed after the project went out to tender and the works were then carried out in a tight deadline.

This type of large-format retail space that is fully open to the public, must meet specific requirements and constraints, particularly in terms of fire safety and disabled access. An interior fit-out application for public access buildings must be made and approved by the local authorities.

Our extensive experience in retail design in France and the expertise of our bilingual team, hugely benefited the client’s understanding of the administrative procedures involved in obtaining the approval for a fit-out application by the necessary authorities.

The shop is approximately 600m² and the conceptual drawings were done by C2 Design from Amsterdam. The brand’s stores enrich the retail experience through the inclusion of quality internal fixtures and fine material detailing. Illuminated wall presentations and bespoke furniture, designed to showcase garments, are key features of the interior designs.
