Refurbishment focus on flexible space, wellness and security
Working with Deloitte, Design Box and WSP, the project’s focus was to transform an existing building into a flexible, modern workspace that could be easily adapted to create a healthy environment for 140 staff.
An added challenge was to phase the project to ensure business continuity.
Among the features introduced to enhance user wellness were timber flooring and walls, which added a more warm and natural feel to the spaces, while the roof was punctured to allow more natural light into the core of building.
Outside, new recreation areas were created in the existing grounds.
The nature of the tenant’s business required high levels of security and the landscaping was designed to keep these features discrete.
