Site works begin at Indescon Court mixed-use development in London

With the planning permission approved for change of use from commercial space to offices, work on site began this month at Indescon Court, part of a mixed-use development near Canary Wharf in London. The client, a French investor, required Reid Brewin Architects’ specialist knowledge and experience in both French and UK building regulations and planning procedures for this project. The system of how planning applications are prepared and analysed differs greatly in the UK to France. The project requires a fully bilingual Anglo-French team for coherent communication and collaboration between all parties concerned, a key part of the service we provide. When completed, there will be over 700m² (including the ground floor and mezzanine) of fully serviced co-working office space available to companies and business people to use on a flexible basis.
