Reid Brewin Architects are currently working on a shop refurbishment at Quatre Temps, La Défense, a large shopping centre on the outskirts of Paris, for the leading international sportswear and sports accessories company.

In collaboration with ISG, the general contractor, and the inhouse design team for the client, our involvement began with the initial site surveys, continuing with the design phase, the permit applications and we are now fully immersed in the on-site works.

The shop has a floor area of 1500m² and the site works started in February 2014 and the shop will open in May 2014. As is common with all retail projects, the programme is very fast paced. Retail projects in large shopping centres often differ from individual shop refits, due to the numerous constraints within this type of building and the many different parties involved as well as working with and around existing services.

Reid Brewin Architects vast experience in retail design and its strength in coordinating an international team, based in different countries at different time zones, are key to the successful running and completion of this project.

As a result of the client’s satisfaction, a second project has recently been confirmed. Reid Brewin Architects have been asked  to undertake the works on the high profile new Brand experience store at Les Halles. Click here for further information.
