May 2014 at our Architectural Practice

Renovation of two Agent Provocateur boutiques in Paris
Reid Brewin Architects were recently asked by Agent Provocateur, a British company specialising in luxury lingerie, to accompany them in the development and refurbishment of two shops in Paris, one in the chic area of the 1st arrondissement, the other in the stylish 7th arrondissement. Our architects are working alongside the design team based in England providing the necessary know-how for the French building permit application process and then later following the works on site. The project includes several levels of complexity: integrating disabled standards and fire safety, as with any public access building (ERP – Etablissement recevant du public) and also working to a very tight deadline. All administration procedures, authorisations and the completion of works must be carried out within four months.
