Striking design for energy efficient Data Centre

In 2015, after being involved in several data centres in the UK, VIRIDI Data Centres embarked on its first project in mainland Europe.

Reid Brewin Architects was brought on board to design a new building with contemporary architecture to accompany the firm’s new concept of an all air-cooling system.

This new system offers considerable reductions in energy consumption as no chilled water equipment is utilised, making this scheme an exemplar design for France.

Due to go on site in 2019 the building will have significantly reduced running costs as full cooling will only be required for a limited period during the summer.
