Reid Brewin Architects have recently obtained the planning application approval for a site in the suburbs of Nice in the south of France. The project involves redesigning the parking areas and green spaces for an existing 15 hectare site.
The client asked us to adapt the existing road and footpath layout in order to allow better access to the buildings at the rear of the site for light vehicles, creating a more attractive site to prospective tenants. Our design involved studying the existing planting areas and assessing the future parking needs for building users. Our proposals were submitted to the local Mairie to obtain the building permit on behalf of the client.
This project also included the renovation of existing offices on the site for which Reid Brewin Architects have undertaken space-planning designs to maximize lettable space. The office renovation is planned for 2012.
