Luxtram – a new tramway for Luxembourg

Last summer Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands, in collaboration with Reid Brewin Architects, won a competition for the creation of a tram line in Luxembourg. The project consists of the construction of 18 tram stations, which will be built along the route of the original tram route from 1859. The original tram is long gone, so the new tramway must be reinserted into the city. This will involve specific refurbishment and major roadworks, as well as pathways to allow pedestrians to cross the lines. Read more.
